GAME DESIGNER

We are seeking a talented Game Designer to shape exceptional gameplay experiences and captivating visual designs. You will collaborate across teams to develop immersive worlds, intuitive interfaces, and engaging player journeys.

Job description

Role and Responsibilities

    • Design the visual aspects of a game; this includes characters, environments, and user interfaces.
    • Collaborate with other designers, artists, and developers to bring a game to life.
    • Conceptualize, implement, and maintain gameplay systems that achieve a fulfilling flow state, addictive game loops, and a balanced risk/reward dynamic.
    • Develop storylines, character backstories, and dialogue through scripts and storyboards, supported by relevant research.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation such as design outlines, diagrams, and visual mockups detailing triggers, interactions, and subsequent gameplay events.
    • Design engaging and intuitive UI elements for interactive games and player dashboards using Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva.
    • Produce production-ready assets including game overlays, HUDs, menus, and promotional screens for live-streamed content.
    • Develop visual concepts for on-screen studio environments and collaborate with production teams to ensure consistency across platforms.
    • Translate wireframes and product requirements into polished design mockups.
    • Contribute to branding, iconography, and visual identity systems for the platform.
    • Stay up to date with design trends in digital entertainment, gaming, and streaming UI.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Game Design or Graphic Design with a strong passion for gaming.
    • Solid knowledge of core gameplay, economy design, retention & monetization.
    • Solid knowledge of game design principles including mechanics, level design, UI/UX, and reward systems.
    • Proficiency in game design tools such as Cocos Creator, Unreal Engine, Unity or other prototyping tools.
    • Familiarity with mobile device hardware, platforms, software technologies, and design techniques.
    • Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva.
    • Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to produce clean, usable UI designs.

Nice to have:

    • Knowledge of retro gaming trends and market insights.
    • Ability to create visuals that convey a story, setting, or emotion in a game.
    • Understand design trends in the game industry (UI/UX, characters, environments, items).
    • English listening and speaking skills for work.
